This class is a fun and active way to introduce yoga to children. We play yoga related games, tell stories with movement, have discussions about how to use the practice of yoga in every day life, and then have quiet rest at the end of every class. Children tend to take to practicing yoga very naturally. With a little guidance, children can benefit greatly from learning the valuable techniques that yoga teaches; such as calming anxiety, improving focus, and building self esteem.
Ages 3-10. Parents and caregivers are always happily invited to join in the class at no charge, however, I ask for please no spectators in order to allow the children to keep their full attention on their practice.
